I think you should know that all of your non-racists neighbors can see the name you have chosen to connect you to the world wide web. It didn't take long to figure out which home the hate was coming from as most everyone around here uses their last name as part of their network connection. Your signal is quite strong from the kitchen table of my mostly Greek, olive skinned home.
The same kitchen table where my Beautiful Black Niece sits for a home cooked meal when she's tired of the food served on her college campus a few miles away.
The same kitchen table where she opens up her laptop to do her homework.
I can't even begin to explain the shame I felt when she told me that she saw your network name.
So even though you think your "Non-black neighborhood" network name is anonymous, it's not.
I know who you are.
We all know who you are.
Might I suggest that the next time you leave the comfort of your lovely home, that you check yourself in the mirror, because I'm pretty sure, that despite your best efforts to appear wonderful, your racism is showing.

Damn it! What do we have to do to get this crap to die the undignified death it deserves? Can someone tell me why the color of someone's skin matters? Does the color of someone's hair? It's all pigmentation! Aren't fair skin and blue eyes considered to be a genetic mutation? Yes, there are cultural differences. But then, I live in a different culture than my Orcadian cousins. In the end we all want love and security and family. We want to be treated fairly. To be accepted for who we are. Is there no way to stop this stupidity?
